Step – 3 Listen carefully to each question:
“One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say”
✡ Listening is one of the better way to make an impact with a perspective employer and an opportunity to catch the details from what the interviewer is saying.
✡ Listening skills make a major impact on your job effectiveness and on the quality of your relationships with others.
✡ The listening is one of the most important skills in a job interview. Most candidates go into an interview thinking about how they will answer the questions and so they fail to listen or observe what the hiring mangers ask.
✡ The listening tells the interviewer you have heard what was said and what was not said. sometimes the best answers can be come from listening.
We should listen:
✭ to obtain information.
✭ to understand.
✭ for enjoyment.
✭ to learn
✡ A bad listener to the questions is never going to get the job. Because answering incorrectly and improper interruption during the interview will reduce the chance of hiring.
✡ You may request the interviewer to rephrase the question back to clarify when you are not sure what the interviewer is looking for. It is quite acceptable to take a little time to formulate your response.
✡ Smart employers see curiosity as a valuable trait, and you emphasize your curiosity by listening intently.
